From our founding, we have grown into one of the region's foremost organizations dedicated to advancing community through education, economic empowerment, and civic engagement.

THE VISION
A Chapter is Conceived
Soror Louise Bradley Hughes envisions a new alumnae chapter to serve the growing Delta community in Nassau County, planting the seed that would become NAC.
APRIL 20, 1963
OFFICAL CHARTERING
Nassau Alumnae Chapter is Born
NAC is officially chartered in Roslyn Heights, New York with 16 founding charter members. The charter ceremony is presided over by Dr. Jeanne L. Noble, a distinguished Delta leader and national figure.

Sixteen visionary women sign the charter, forming the foundation of what will grow into one of Nassau County's most impactful community service organizations. Their commitment to Delta's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust shapes the chapter's identity from day one.

NAC establishes Delta Academy, EMBODI, Delta GEMS, and Financial Fortitude, serving hundreds of young people and families across Nassau County annually.
